HERE WE HAVE:
A vintage, homemade dollhouse! One of a kind, unique piece; inspired by the old nursery rhyme "There Was an Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe". An Ohio man built the dollhouse for his
granddaughter
c1957.
The house is shaped like a boot/shoe with a leather exterior, laces up the front and a shingled roof with a chimney. There are two floors inside with some built in furniture. There are four working light "fixtures" inside and a plug on the outside to hook up to a battery power supply. There is an assortment of furniture and dolls included that we received with the house from the owner of the lot.
Also included is a black and white photo, from the early 1960s, of the original owner as a little girl playing with the dollhouse in a garden. You can see some of the dolls included in the photo as well.
CONDITION:
Good condition, considering the nature of the item and it being over 60 years old! Definitely a bit primitive inside. Discolored and damaged wallpaper and flooring. The leather on the exterior has yellowed/stained and is lifting up in areas.
Everything included is in played-with condition.
The lighting inside does work, but we don't have any working bulbs for it (set up for 6w bulbs), and it will need a power supply made for it to come on (an extension cord is too much electricity, so a battery pack is recommended). Please see photos!

RETURNS:
