Description

Vintage 1950's jacket from Mount Union College that belonged to a Jack Rayfeld, Purple Raiders Baseball coach for 30 some years. Jack was a very successful and much loved coach and when he died, I bought the coat and hung it up on display in the shop we used to own in Alliance, Ohio.  The coat is Purple cloth with White faux leather arms and inside is a silk like material. It has on the front chest a white and blue emblem with MUC sewn on it. Inside the coat is another that says "Jack Rayfield". Up by the maker label on the inside there is a 1/4'' tear in the silk. The last name inside the coat is spelled with an 'i".  Inside the coat is a sewn label, Burean Hollyway Knitting Mills Jackson Center, Ohio as well as a size tag of 46.
