1. Vintage 1950s USN Pilot's Type G-1 Jacket
Selling the following to help my folks clear out their house, it was my great uncle's jacket. Please let me know if you have questions. Thanks for looking.
United States Navy Pilot's Type G-1 Jacket. Goatskin leather with the lighter mouton fur collar and nylon lining. It has two exterior button pockets and one inside breast pocket along zipper line. Left pocket has pen slit. Brass zipper and USN stamp on wind flap. Size 42.
22" - pit to pit
19" - shoulder seam to shoulder seam
26" - shoulder seam down to edge of cuff (in a straight line)
1950s era made by Flying Equipment Co. under contract 261953 in Chicago 13 (before the postal zone in Chicago).
