?There are a variety of K-9 belly bands on the market. Many of which have a variety of design flaws, preventing the dog belly band from being effective.  They fall off, they do not last long, are ineffective at holding urine or they rub hair and skin.  Our patent pending design of dog belly bands are fully adjustable to achieve a perfect fit, therefore making them very reliable...they stay on.
WHAT MAKES MY DESIGN UNIQUE?
I have created a new design for the belly band, a Ring & Velcro Strap Closure System  (pat.pending) , that is
almost
impossible for the dog to wiggle out of without the use of elastic.  This is the best design I've found for keeping Belly Bands on the dogs.  Nothing is escape-proof! Every once in a while one of the pugs escapes!

NOTE ON SIZES:
If your dog's length measurement is close to the Max Length on a Size, it would be best to purchase the next size up.
MEASURING YOUR DOG
1.  Measure from the top of his back around the penis and back to the top.  This is the exact length/girth. Please Do Not  add length...I will do this for the correct fit.
2.  I will need the length of his torso from the front of his back legs to the bottom of the ribcage.  This is to insure the band is the correct width.
Note on Width:  Wider Widths are BEST... I found out the hard way that if the band is not wide enough, when your baby lifts his leg to mark, the penis pops out of the top of the band, and he is still able to mark.   A wider band will provide full coverage, and if too wide, it will bunch a little, but will NOT cause rubbing or chaffing.
Measuring Hint:  Use a piece of newspaper.  Fold lengthwise and start with a 4" width.  Make any adjustments necessary.  See Picture.
FEATURES OF OUR ULTIMATE BELLY BAND
:
1.  Use of the Ring /Velcro Strap Closure System:
The Ring & Velcro Strap Closure ( pat pending) allows approximately 4" of length for Maximum Adjustability, Use of a pad, & allows for weight gain/loss.  This closure system also allows for fast & easy  on & off.
2.  Extra length in Band:
Protects against hair getting caught in the Velcro because one is tucked under allowing the dog's coat full protection from the Velcro, use of a pad, and room for weight gain/loss.
3.  Quality made Band:   Made with Quality Fabrics & Velcro plus an adsorbent inner lining (mattress pad material), quilted together, with finished edge. Top Stitching Thru Out.  No Zig-Zag stitch.
4. Easy Clean Up:
I recommend the use of a disposable pad. ( I use the least expensive feminine pads I can find. Thick or Thin depends are your Baby’s Habit) POISE Pads are meant for urine.   It makes cleaning the accidents easier & keeps the band cleaner longer.  I also recommend buying 2 bands, so there is an extra on hand while one is being laundered.
5. Laundering:
My bands are designed to be easily cleaned.  Just toss in the washer & dryer.  I suggest cold water and closing the Velcro strap.
7.  Our canine belly bands are extremely durable.
Made of high quality materials & fabrics, double stitched, machine wash & dry. Our K-9 belly bands are constructed with 4 layers:?
* An outside decorative layer?
* An inside soft coordinating layer?
* Full length absorbent inner layer?
* Double absorbent layer in the center of the dog belly band.
Each of our K-9 belly bands are very effective with containment of urine with the double absorbent layer in the center of the band.  Should your furry friend require more , our canine belly bands allow for the use of a disposable, self-adhesive pad.

Cotton Bands:
Made from cotton/cotton blend fabric on both sides of the band.
Corduroy & Denim Band:
Made with cotton/cotton blend Corduroy or Denim fabric on the outside with a velour or flannel inside lining.
Thoughts On Elastic:
Our dog belly bands are constructed without elastic, because of the rubbing, chaffing, skin irritation & hair loss that elastic may cause.  Like humans, not all brands/style of clothing fit every body shape & size.  It is the same with dogs.  Please consider your dog's size, shape, weight & behavior when wearing belly bands before ordering. For those who prefer elastic, our K-9 belly bands can be constructed with elastic.
Thoughts on Vinyl Lining:
I do not use vinyl lining in my boys' belly bands.  For my boys', the vinyl holds the moisture against the skin causes chaffing, irritation, & rash.  I recommend the use of a pad rather than the vinyl lining.  It all depends on you dog's urinary release pattern.
