RAM DC 222 Motor Epoxied Armature Slot Car 1960 Original NOS Needs Brushes

SPECIAL NOTE:
MOTOR IS MISSING BRUSHES AND SPRING WITH FIBER SEPARATOR THAT GOES INSIDE THE SPRING TO HOLD THE BRUSHES APART .
NOTE:  I see some factory epoxy on the rear end, side of the armature (not the front end by the area the brushes touch)   Please look at the pictures closely.

RAM Model DC 222 Electric Motor 6 or 12 Volt.  New Old Stock.
NOTE
: All the motors are
missing the rear axle brackets
.  I have found you can make your own by using the Dynamic front pickup guide tongue.  Very easy to do.
Ram's DC 222 is a challenger to the Pittman DC 426 and 426A.  Same physical size as these motors, will fit those frames.  7 pole armature, special 6  or 12 volt windings with epoxy on the armature.
Vintage.  A new style for either in-line or sidewinder installations.  Easy gear changes, adjustable.  7 pole armature,  moulded commutator,  welded armature leads,  Similar in overall size of the DC 426 & DC 426A without gears.
Manufactured in the USA 1960's Vintage
Slot Car Motor 1/24 1/32 1/25 scale.
