Tiger's new ultra power shaft armature
    (90 turns of #30 wire).
    New Old Stock.
    Manufactured in the 1960's by Monogram.  Part # SR1475.   For 1/32  1/24  1/25 scales.
GET HOT!  OVER 30,600 RPM STOCK!!!  GO Tiger!
Tiger's new generation of hot stock motor armatures.  Each are precision manufactured to rigid specifications.  A typical result of Tiger's engineering and ingenuity.
    Special Rewind Armatures
The super hot Tiger armatures are tightly wound to Monogram engineering specifications to withstand fantastically high RPM for higher than "stock" performance.
Be sure to read and perform each step of the changeover carefully, as the manufacturer cannot be held responsible if you should ruin your motor during installation, or blow the motor after completion.
Avoid unnecessary "no load" running.  Generally speaking, higher gear ratios and lower ohm controllers will be needed.  For best results, discuss with your local track operator.
    Suggested Procedure
    1.  Remove brush springs and brushes.
    2. Use gear puller to remove pinion gear.
    3. Carefully file away the serrations on gear end of shaft.  This is a MUST in order to pull shaft through the self aligning bearing.
    4. Open tabs on sides of case.  A Monogram wrench works perfectly for this.
    5. Remove old armature.  If armature begins to stick in the self aligning bearing, the serrations on the shaft will require additional filing.
    6. For increased performance, remove magnets and place one or two layers of masking tape on inside of case sides to reduce gap between armature and magnets.  Replace magnets.
    7. Slip new hot armature into place.  Add nylon front and be sure the armature rotates freely. Check for end play and if it is too great, add additional washer spacers from old armature.  If everything works well, carefully bend the tabs which hold the nylon front to the case.
    8. Install brushes and pinion gear, and you're ready for action.
Head Driven Motor for all 1/32 & 1/24 & 1/25 scale slot cars.

My Dad owned a Hobby Shop that closed in the early 1970's, and he kept some of the more interesting slot cars and accessories from that era.  The items I am listing are in most cases, near new or gently used.  I have taken many pictures to show every angle and have tried to describe all features and/or flaws to the best of my ability.  Please email with any questions specific to something I may have missed. Please check my other listings as I will be selling many cars, accessories and track in all three scales-- HO, 1/32nd, and 1/24th.
If you don't see the car or part you are looking for, please email me.  If I have it, I will list it for you.  Many of the items in my inventory  are  NEW OLD STOCK.
