    Description

Up for sale is the Avatar The Last Airbender TCG Trading card game Master of Elements 235 Card Complete Set made by Upper Deck in 2006 as part of the short lived, but very popular Quickstrike system with Shaman King and Pirates of the Caribbean. These cards were made to coincide with the Nickelodeon TV show when it first aired. The battling system involves a no hand strategy, knowing your deck, and comparing powers.
This set as pictured is all the more rare version of the cards from Upper Deck with better and darker colors. This print was sold to Europe first and the cards say The Legend of Aang in the bottom right hand corner. Most cards you will see said The Last Airbender in the bottom right hand corner or bottom left and bottom of the pull out on the chamber cards.
There are ten different characters to play as represented by the thick chamber cards that pull out ar the top: Aang, Katara, King Bumi, Jojo, Malu, Prince Zuko, Uncle Iroh, Afiko, Commander Zhao, and Kinto. Four of these characters were made by Upper Deck with their own interesting stories and backgrounds and never appeared in the show. The chamber cards numbered 176-235 are sold separately. They pull out from the top with different attacks on each side.
In the Master of Elements set for non-chamber cards there are 55 common cards (black numbers) *, 55 uncommons (white numbers) **, 55 rares (yellow numbers) ***, and 10 Zenemental holos (1 for each character)***. For chamber cards, each playable character has three different numbered commons (black numbers), two different uncommons (white numbers), and one special rare chamber card (yellow numbers).
Packs come with 1 rare 3 uncommon and 6 common. Holos are listed as 1 in 6, but not that frequent in my experience. More like 1 in 9. Packs are near impossible to find and selling for over usd a pack. In my experience opening packs, the rare chamber cards can yield less frequently than the Zenemental holos at about 1 in 8 packs. You only get 1 chamber card per pack. Starter decks have only 2 rare and chamber cards, 16 uncommon, and 42 common cards. They were not done well by UDE. The cards slide around in the hard plastic box and even unopened get dinged up. Starter decks are easier to find, but still rare in good condition and selling for about usd after adding tax and shipping. It took me hundreds of packs over quite some time, wheeling, and dealing, and trading trading with contacts in Canada, Ireland, UK, Belgium, Cyprus, and Australia to make this set.
The pics are from my personal collection. Cards will not be in a binder. I keep the worst condition cards for myself.
The cards are new in that none have been used in gameplay and are pack or starter fresh. Upper Deck pack fresh quality in the mid 2000's wasn't quite as good as a set like Yu-Gi-Oh, but the cards overall are good. They come from a smoke free home with avid hand washers.
I will not break up the set at the moment, but I can sell single cards as long as I have duplicates of the one(s) you're looking for.
Holos are usd a piece, Rares are usd a piece Uncommons are .5usd a piece, commons are {{detail_product_description}}.75usd a piece. Rare chamber cards are usd, uncommons are .5 usd, and commons are usd as a rule, but that is broken a lot with certain common chamber cards yielding less frequently for me than other rarity value chamber cards.
