This product makes a great addition to any home-theater system! This product is a switcher and a scaler in one. With the ability to output multiple resolutions, you can match native resolutions from your TV or projector. This means using one device to connect your composite video, s-video, component video, VGA, and HDMI sources to one HDMI output.
Any of the inputs can be scaled up to 1080p. Analog audio from any of the sources will be digitized and encrypted into the HDMI output, using one cable for audio and video. You could also split your source audio to a digital coaxial output (S/PDIF), and route it through an audio receiver if desired.
