PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Aftermarket Hole Hawg Switch 16A-125V replaces Milwaukee 23-66-1020 is a switch with large button. It is used on hole hawg drills, drill press, two speed drills, single speed drills, reversing compact drills, drill/ driver etc.
Switches are commonly replaced parts in power tools. A switch handles all on/off and variable speed functions. They also have a role in electric breaking; they can momentarily reverse electrical polarity. Because switches use mechanical internals, they tend to degrade and wear out over time, eventually requiring replacement. Also used in other Milwaukee tools.
NOTE
: Some common signs of a broken or failing switch are:
The tools has completely stopped functioning - it will not turn on
The tool operates intermittently, requiring multiple tries to turn on, until eventually it wont turn on at all
The variable speed function and electric braking arent working properly
