This has become my new favorite exotic wood. The price of this wood compared to other exotic wood is reasonably priced but can be hard to find, especially after I show this off. 😁
This width is approximately 9.5. As you turn the bowl, the colors change from red to orange to brown, it’s amazing! It’s a Big, Bold statement piece! It is rare to find pieces this size and it takes longer to work with a bowl this size. I took extra time with this one to show off the bottom and carve extra designs. I knew this piece was going to be worth the effort.
This wood is still considered to be sustainable and we never want to waste anything that is going to die anyways. Highest and best use for this wood is now a bowl/platter!
I hand sign, date, and number each bowl.
