Please measure your dogs tummy just in front of his hind legs.
Band is approx 4 3/4 inch wide and stretches to over 19" when closed
Please make sure that your band is not too tight for your pooch as this could cause problems with the movement of his legs.  I use a generous amount of fabric and USA made elastic with my bands which easily allows room for any size pad.  I prefer the belly band to be loose so the wetness is absorbed by the pad and not resting up against the dogs skin.  No diaper rash with my belly bands!

I use a 2 inch velcro with my belly bands.  They are easy to take on and off.  Just add a with an adhesive backing and your little man will be good to go.  Poise Brand Pads seems to work the best for my little guy.  They come in different thickness.  No more leaks or dribbles.
My belly bands consist of a fleece lining which helps to wick moisture away and an outer layer of cotton fabric.  Elastic on the sides allow the disposable pad to stay in place.
Simply toss your belly band in the the washer (with the velcro closed) air dry and they will be as good as new.

I previously fostered a male dog who was a puppy mill survivor.  He was so afraid of people that he simply sat in the corner and shook.  I couldn't imagine to think of teaching him to go outside to potty.  He was so afraid of the leash.  I was given a "male dog diaper" to use for little Griffin.  However, the diaper was of poor quality and leaked.  At the request of another volunteer I began making belly bands.  I came up with a design that holds a pad in securely without the possibility of placing too much pressure on the dog.   I currently am donating belly bands to a local dog rescue group to help the abused and neglected dogs of our community.  I have received many positive comments regarding the quality of my belly bands and it was requested that I make my belly bands available to the eBay community.
